Winter's Carnivore

Pashmenia

This here is called a Crested Caracara. It's part of the falcon family. They inhabit open brushlands; often seen on the ground in company with vultures. They feed chiefly on carrion and also hunt insects and small animals. Commonly seen in Texas and are casual to New Mexico. Females are also bigger than the males. Knowledge is power.
