Just the characters I've created for a sci-fi setting! Their background has changed a lot and they've been around for about 3 years now! They're all friends who live on a ship known as the Souvenir, which was grown from a space tree! From left to right:

Rae: Her full name is Raenaenae! She is a one of a kind specimen born to interface with the ship. Rae's true form is a mass of leaves and vines, but her current cute form is to make interaction easy for the other equally cute members of the crew :3

Bud: He's a great navigator, pilot and knows how to operate some weapons in a pinch! However, Bud is really eccentric when he isn't focused on any important tasks. He is almost like a brother to Jaggery and follows him a lot.

Jaggery: He was kind of lazy and irresponsible until he came across a STARTLING SECRET that led up to this whole crazy space adventure. Jag has a strange aura of leadership about him despite being kind of a slob. He never smiles, but when he's happy he wags his little poofy tail. Jag doesn't bother finding clothes that fit!

Fritz: A big know nothing know-it-all! He has encyclopedic knowledge on many planets and aliens, but really needs to brush up on his people skills. Fritz thinks he's the smartest and that anyone who doesn't share his viewpoint lacks an open mind. He can be quite cooperative in times of need and surprisingly useful, which is probably why he wasn't kicked out a long time ago.

Ripper: The strongest and most experienced at combat! He jokes a lot and can be very offensive and rude, but always wants to be the hero. He's good pals with Jag because they can both be slobs sometimes! Ripper seems to be constantly arguing with Fritz, but enjoys every second of it.
