Lune, who was flying with his broom, wasn't prepared to literally run into a giant friendly tortoise. Wise as all tortoises, age unknown so we don't know if is old or not, but it is the starting of a great new friendship.
A good example of a happy accident. Things, however bad they may seem, happen for some good reason.
