Odd coloration for a character named variscite. Variscite is a green gem mineral

  Actually, upon further research, Variscite can rarely be red.

    Ah, I see. I know a lot about gems, mostly their colors and patterns. So I just found it odd to see a red colored character with Variscite in the title. To my knowledge, gem quality variscite is at least almost exclusively green in color. It’s actually a really nice looking gemstone, and is one of my favorites.
