Mother Wolf (critique requested)

Paladin-Ciel

She tried to fit back into her old life Tried to put the past three years behind her, but the beast inside craved sustenance. Now that the scent of fresh blood was in the air there was no way that the beast could be held back. Her daughter was going to die and it was her fault.

She could smell the scent of terror emanating from her daughter as the change ripped through her own body. The sound of bones cracking and popping, the burning sensation on her skin as fur began to push through. She frantically tore at her own flesh with new razor sharp claws. No matter how much she resisted she could not slow the beasts arrival in the slightest. Tears flooded from her now golden eyes, with each passing moment the desire to rip into the soft tender flesh of her daughter grew greater and greater.

Seven years they had both waited for this reunion and now as the moon raised to its apex it would all be for naught. She could sense everything there was to know about her daughter. Could hear her heart beat racing like a bird. she could taste her blood on her salivating tongue. The truth was she stopped being human the night she was attacked three years ago. She was a fool to think that she could ever hold a normal life again, and now as the transformation wracked her body with pain and pleasure she had no desire to ever go back. She was now counting the moments when she would be able to bite down on her daughter's succulent throat...
