This is from August, bc I have a problem posting here. Made good practice for lineless work.

This is for Beetlebelle (DA) with their prompt, which had to do with the bird of paradise--both the avian and flora versions--and sunshine. For the Creature-Exchange group(DA).

I took bits from each of the prompted design elements. I took the "prince" [part of the prompt] preference and researched both "anime" princes also part of the prompt, as well as princely costumes/outfits.
I also took traits from the bird of paradise flower and the greater bird of paradise bird. The bird's feathers are present on the cape, and the flower's petals/stoma are displayed in the crown. The colors from both kind of show through on the rest of the design, though I could only adapt so much because a some of the colors didn't mix well, ahah.
The color pallet was based off the sun/gold and the bird of paradise flower/bird.

Overall, this was a fun design to conceptualize. Probably won't do any more of these for a while, ahah. Run out of characters I want redesigned, for now (that's what I've been getting for my designs, ehh).
