Mario the ETR 400 (Frecciarossa 1000) just got an upgrade to have some Synth technology including better vision and a much sleeker body. His history has been rewritten to be born this way as well as several of the world's newest high speed trains to have synth technology/genes. Mario may not be a 100% robotic, but he certainly has an organic brain and organs hidden underneath the cybernetic exterior which makes him a cyborg. He can do all the things living trains can do even though he stays up longer than his non-synth counterparts.
