Being born from fiber optics, Optibyte surges through the homes of Earthly beings in attempt to make themself known; as for non-believers of Monsterkind cannot see them.

Optibyte "marks" territory by causing television sets switch off after you've tripped over a conveniently placed power cord, the screen to change to static fuzz, and other problems that are hard to ignore.
Opti's reputation has others seeing them as a pest, but they want nothing more than acknowledgement from those who are doubtful... And to hoard TV sets.

Their Life Source is located on the chest- feeding them the energy accumulated from every television they've tampered with. It is a very powerful source, but a good hit there can damage Optibyte just as strongly.
The energy inside is also used to keep their severed head and arms levitating.

One of the other strange features may be the third eye in the center of the head. Not that Triclopses are strange, but how independent the eye seems to move and react with emotion despite being on the same face as the other two dominant eyes.

Reason being: Optibyte has two minds- the second one holding more of the intelligent side, while Optibyte manifests the Monsterous side. The normal behavior commonly seen by Optibyte is the Harmony between both minds.
However, either of them can become unbalanced with one another and cause serious damage to Optibyte and those around them. This makes long-term friend-making extremely hard; but helps them discover the true friends in the long-run.
