From Chapter 5 of Bye Bye Junior High:
As Joey placed his hand upon the handle of the door to pull it open................KABOOM!
An explosion suddenly took place, sending Joey flying four feet away from the door, hitting the floor hard with a sickening thud and knocking him out cold.
Another explosion happened shortly after that, followed by a third.....each more powerful and destructive than the last, shaking the entire foundation of Degrassi Junior High School as well as the surrounding areas surrounding Degrassi Street.
