I've been wanting to make this incredibly manic god tier character for awhile, and everything fell into place when I read an East Asian folktale about a woman who fell in love with a travelling Monk, but was spurned by him, so she chased him and chased him, slowly turning into a dragon as she did. The Monk ran to a temple and was hidden underneath a bell, where she found him and wrapped around the bell and breathed fire on it until it melted, cooking him inside.

Since I've been wanting two different characters for awhile, I decided to combine their stories:

First, I've been enraptured by the idea of an East Asian pirate queen who fought both the mortal and divine hierarchy. And, I also wanted this terrible jealous goddess character. I decided to combine them with that folktale I read ages ago, and decided that her story is that she was a bandit queen who was spurned by her lover with destiny as the excuse and became so enraged at her lover, Fate, and the Heavens she became a dragon.
