A few years ago I made up a joke character based on the trend of recent Kirby games getting edgier and having more female antagonist characters. So when they showed that one of the bosses in the newest Kirby game was a shapely female leopard specializing in claw attacks, it was pretty funny to me. She's almost like a direct representation of the trend I was parodying. I've heard there was also a visually appealing water bird girl as one of the bosses, so they could possibly be going all-in with the trend.
