In this short comic, a pair of Gelriens have captured and are examining a Siromis. These two have been hired by a shady employer to do so, wearing a special oil that doesn't trigger a Siromis' tentacles to sting. Although a Gelrien's water-based adaptability makes Siromis venom nonlethal, Gelriens do get sick from getting stung.

A few individuals have an interest in Siromese as pets, even though it's illegal. But safely capturing one without hurting it is extremely difficult, so barely anyone tries to. However, one company has put significant resources into capturing and transporting Siromese. Leroy and Lydia, a pair of Gelriens frequently involved in illegal activity, have been hired and given supplies and equipment to catch and export Siromese to their employer.
