Here's a small comic I made to introduce a few new characters. Macy Cinnabar is an Esviran lady who is a wildlife researcher. She studies organisms from different planets, but her favorite critters are native to her homeworld Electris 7.

They are a species of small, energy-based lifeforms known as Sparkflies. Like some insect species, Sparkflies live together in hives. They primarily feed on electricity, mainly from the many energy-generating minerals found across the planet. Although non-aggressive, if a Sparkfly feels threatened it will discharge a few jolts of static electricity. The jolt is just strong enough to make other energy lifeforms flinch so it can escape. For organic lifeforms, though, it stings quite a bit. Esvirans are very fond of Sparkflies. Lodradons sometimes eat them, though.
