There's a lot of stuff I should draw but PepperoniDeluxe is leaving for work and I meant to draw something for him for a while and for some reason it became this.
Usually it's my characters who are being awful to each so it was nice to borrow Dick's Chet Moores to do that for a change.
I mean people are so critical these days, you know? And everyone is so afraid of doing something not good enough and being made fun of. And "don't do this because you suck at it"! And "don't watch that because I decided it's a bad show"! But really, I think people should do whatever they find fun as long as it doesn't hurt anyone and nobody is forced to witness it.
Even if it involves butchering songs. Oh yeah, and honestly I wouldn't be much better off than Dale singing this - can't sing anything for the sake of my life and well aware of it. :)

I noticated a lot of hate going on recently. I think it started with 4chan, before you could do whatever you wanted, now, if you're not totally anonymous, people will mock you, and post your phone number on websites.
Anyway, NICE PIC. I love how you can draw characters that look SO Happy, and others that look so GRUMPY
Yup, and people just can't accept that everyone is different and nobody is perfect - they decide they dislike a person and then go on (mis)quoting stuff that person said ages ago and might not even agree with any more. I'm sort of afraid sooner or later it will happen to me but there's some relief in knowing I'm not popular enough for that.
And thank you! I love drawing different expressions! Sometimes I think I like drawing unhappy expressions more but it's probably because everyone is grinning by default in commissions so I draw those more often.
Dude, we have the same (kinda?) fears?!
And you know, one day someone threatened me to make an encyclopedia dramatica article about me. Luckily enough, they didn't do it, though I didn't really care at that time, but imagine, the thing would be still here, and if my real name and adress were posted, bad thinds would have happened, God... Why?! DX
Yeah, gosh, that's scary. D: I tend to think that as long as they can't get your address, phone number and details like that everything is fixable online but it can still cause a lot of bad feelings.
I really dislike ED (not sure if it's still there but even if it isn't there's 4chan or some other crap). I've only seen a couple of articles there but it was more than enough.
YEAH! It's what i'm thinking, but, dude, things can get stolen so easily? And sometime, it get so bad, your email adress get hacked, and such, sometime I'm thinking, wow, you get popular, and now, instead of a few people just complaining you get hackers ddos-ing your computers, posting your mother's name on internet, and photos of you nakked. And if you complain, it was YOUR FAULT for posting those things first!
ED is still there. At one time, I though it was funny, but then, I got tired of it, people exagerate a lot about bad things. I'm thankfull, it called on some people's bullshit (like, a girl who mistreat her dog, and buy tattoos instead of taking it to the vet when she asks for commissions to help it) but there's absolutely no NEED to harass and go and talk about people's private life. Warning that the money may not go where you payed for, or warning because an artist may never finish a picture (or a commissioner may never pay you) is nice, but they shouldn't go further. When an employee does a bad thing, you don't end up posting a photo of him nakked on the wall with his adress, DX...
Also, I know a few people who are SUPER Nice and have an ED article. Sometime over a fight against ONE PERSON who was so mad he didn't have the last word they decided to make an ED article about them as a revenge ô_ô
Yeah, I agree, people should be called out on crap like that (it really annoys me when people on tumblr or other art sites basically panhandle and you can figure out their situation is not that hopeless JUST FROM THE THINGS THEY SAY THEMSELVES) but it shouldn't get personal. And nobody should make fun of things people are not in control of, like appearance, gender and health issues.
I'm gonna' have to take a day and make my way through all your Cop Story stuff (look'it all'o' it!) You obviously put a lot of heart into these characters and their backgrounds.
And yes- people really need the freedom to try and fail. It's not like you can figure out how to succeed otherwise, but even if you don't and you simply enjoy it then hey, it was worth it!

Hahaha, truth. More wise words coming from ya. Seems like this is the path you've taken, too, in conjunction with what I read of your last journal. You drew what you wanted to draw, and have created a unique identity for yourself in the process, hopefully having fun all the 'while.
