Since it orbited closely to its star within the habitable zone, Ch’tekk was a barely comfortable desert world. The light during the day is harsh and piercing, and the nights are just a little too warm. This is what makes it the perfect base of operations for a wanted fugitive to hide… Until things go south, and you get found out of course.

In the dawn hours following the ill-fated assault on her hideout, Tai found what she was looking for: a pathetic heap of scrap for a ship, no doubt meant to transport her back to Homeworld, and a small crew of shaken guards who heard everything from the evening before over the radio. Their craft’s engines were choked by sand and heat, essentially making them fish in a barrel for her to dispatch and rob of valuable items, parts, and tech.

I had a lot of fun making the lighting, it was a lot of new things going on for me! :3 It started off as a much wider piece meant to serve as my new twitter header, but I got tired.
