One thing I'm fond of is anthros of vehicles rather than animals. Of course, I couldn't pick just any old vehicle, so here's an update of my treasure ship woman, Bao. Being about 450 feet tall (or 137 meters), Bao figures pretty solidly into the daikaiju range of macros, taller (although not longer) than Godzilla at his biggest. She is, however, relatively light for her size, at a mere 3,000 tons, a fifteenth of the weight of the King of Monsters at his lightest.

Because of her size and "species", Bao spends most of her time out in the ocean, floating contentedly. Fortunately for the food stores of the world, she eats shipbuilding supplies—timber, metals, vast coils of rope—and usually makes landfall just to gobble on trees. Being a boat, she is also perfectly content with having ordinary-sized folks and even smaller macros riding around on her, or in her: her back has plenty of doorways to the "lower decks" of her inner body. She can easily manipulate her internal passages, keeping people away from her vital organs or even trapping them inside behind dozens of feet of hardy living timber and animate iron.

Born to human parents of great magical potential, and rapidly growing from childhood to her present size (by her pre-teen years, she was already over a hundred feet tall), Bao is far from a brutish monster and empathizes strongly with ordinary-sized people. She is very proud of her Chinese heritage, though she identifies more strongly with Taiwan and isn't very fond of the PRC, happily harassing their vessels when she sees an opportunity. Indeed, she sometimes has the national symbols of the ROC painted on her sides (especially her thighs), and will come to Taiwan's defense against other macros and kaiju. Although she is made of living timber that resists fire, she is still afraid of flames and is more easily damaged by burning than most creatures of her size, so she does avoid combat with creatures or weapons that can use it against her. If need be, she can defend herself with any of countless cannons throughout her body, or exerting control over weather and waves through her innate magical nature.
