I was very, very struck by the visual of Megatron in that seemingly endless field of blue flowers.

When you think about it...I imagine any of the big players in the war probably has similar layouts. I'd bet Optimus Prime's statue would be much the same...and most definitely Shockwave. But seeing Megatron affected by it...that really hit home for me. I really liked Megatron completely at that moment.

Very true... Tbh, I really think that they should show that imagery to Cybertron. It's pretty powerful, after all.
Megatron's been becoming steadily more likeable, and Optimus has been becoming more dislikable to me.-
It's like...yeah, as cliched as it is...Optimus Prime has become really jaded. They've given him this "I'm so tired of things, but I'll keep doing them anyways because NO ONE ELSE can" attitude. I actually kind of wanted to hit him during the Dark Cybertron arc, when he was still going as Orion Pax...Rodimus was trying to explain a lot of things to him and Optimus just kept cutting him off. He seems to do that a lot with a lot of people now.
I'll be honest...I am actually a fan of "villains that can be redeemed". The whole concept is just a very hopeful one to me...I enjoy seeing storylines where major bad guys find redemption and "become good". They may still have some of their old attitude, they may be changing their attitude...but their desire to finally do something better with their lives--I'm a sucker for those kinds of stories! :)

It's such a good concept! I love it so much and I can't find enough of it, dear heavens. There should be so much more.
