A Lysergic beast is in the family of fauna that exudes lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) from its moist, semi-permeable skin and it’s orifices. They may look sinister but are very playful and friendly by nature which is what makes them so dangerous. Coming into physical contact with one or even its excretions is to dose oneself with LSD. Much of the time when someone happens to come into contact with one it’s more often than not an accident, wrong place/wrong time, or they were cornered by the attention craving critter.

The needle-nose prier is a member of this classification of animal, and other members can be identified by their many eyespots, their long, flexible snouts and soft palates, largely cartilaginous skeleton, and long serpentine bodies. They generally have poor hearing and mostly detect sounds in their environment through vibrations in the ground. They subsist on a diet of smaller varmints, usually seeking out grubs, small lizards and mammals.

It’s not uncommon for tribes of Lehnadrads to coexist peacefully with one or several Lysergic beasts where the ‘drads will have an active predator of vermin and the Lysergic beasts benefit from having willing play-mates. In some cultures they’ve been deified and worshiped as lesser gods for their ability to give any and all who physically engage with them visions and insights into reality and the dosed individual’s psyche.

Lignamira and all concepts therein belong to me
