A little giftie for a DA/XBL friend of mine of her shapeshifting Guardian character, Dara with her distant brother, Darrius, who was taken at an Initiate's age to become an Adeptus Astartes under the Grey Knight.
Darrius had no say when he was taken. He was just selected, whole past erased, survived the trials to prove his loyality, and trained under Brother-Captain Rolius.
It wasn't until a purge mission, he came across Dara and his loyalities were tested to their limit.
