If you see a fence with a hole in it, and saying "Free Food!" and arrows pointing to the hole, its nothing more than a trap. A trap that Azul seemed to let his gut go to his brain and got caught in it. Him being stuck, someone took his sandals. So his lost is other people gain to tease/get back at him.
