Onto finished lineart here. These were just randomly completed as best suited my interests at the time, but I never got around to colouring them. Only one I really regret not doing is that top one of Kelly. It turned out a pretty dynamic pose, given my work state at the time.
Anubis down there (No I promise that’s not his real name) just sorta happened. Blaze was buckling down and he remains, despite being one of my favourite characters, my least favourite to draw, and I think some of my ineptitude at it shows here.
And since it could be a long time before I get back to him, I’m glad to be able to show the dude on the right of those, even at his most embarrassing. This is a character I came up with named Dominus, which, if there’s a name for a two horned unicorn, I’ll take it for now. Bicorn, maybe? This guy’s the actual leader of all the rebels at Harbon grove, and I like to think of this guy as the good guy’s equivalent of Blaze. He’s the strong-man for the Kanyans group, but like Blaze he’s actually a pretty good strategist in a warzone. And as can be seen here, Kelly makes some rather big underestimations about his physical abilities at one point. It’ll be interesting to see how he translates over to the newer, more realistic style when the time comes.
