Realms of Einn

Njorunn

My dimensional map of the god realms of Einn (means alone in old Norse). The central purple pillar of light leads to the infinite mortal realms. Although these are the realms of the Gods, each of the realms are filled with many more mortals than gods.

The realm on the far left is Svalr, the realm of the Dyr (furry style gods). Sometimes other groups call them demons, and they call themselves Doomlords which kind of fits in with the bad guy sounding thing. They're pretty viking themed. As far as economically, they're pretty much just market anarchists making markets dynamic and flexible. They have villages spread out on islands both floating in the air and in the sea, and don't usually build up too large unless it's a nexus of trade like Svalr city is. I'll give more details in a rough map I have of the nexus facing part of the Svalr Realm. The main exports of Svalr are elemental energy infused crystals which can be used to allow mortals to access magics, or power magic tech appliances and weapons, and furs from the large shadow creatures that inhabit the lands there. The mortals of the realm come in a variety of flavors of furry, ranging from elf-like with animal characteristics like fur or fluffy animal ears, to full on bipedal animal creatures.

The fire and brimstone like realm to the south is 'The Hells', which has scalie gods which just call themselves demons. They live in large industrial cities atop giant beasts that crawl through the magma. They are a strict meritocracy, and militarized. And although they're gritty and threatening, they occasionally do wonderful things for the most terrible and selfish of reasons. If you try to call them out on it and call them nice, they get all huffy and offended. 'How dare you! Im all like totally evil, okay? :c goes home and cries softly'. They trade frequently with the Dyr. The main export is magic tech which is used for a variety of things, from warfare weaponry to household appliances. Mortals that live here come in a variety of shapes and sizes much like Svalr. However, they're mostly inhuman and their sizes vary much more, having mortal denizens reaching upwards of 20 feet in height.

The realm on the upper left is called 'The Out-Side'. These are the human gods realm. The mortal Out-Siders don't vary much. They're typically within an inch or two of 5' tall, pale blue skinned humanoids. Any that vary are considered abominations and executed before they show their vial ways. Their society is authoritarian in nature. They have the Divine Council which dictates the sometimes seemingly arbitrary laws. The gods of this realm are called the Eyeless by the denizens, and are tall (~10' tall) winged creatures, with no eyes, noses or ears. Sometimes they will have fluffy feathers covering their body, and other times smooth humanoid skin. They don't trade well with other groups, because they have a series of heavy protective tariffs and regulations that provide a disincentive for foreign trade.

At the moment, the other realms are unimportant but more info will come soon.
