[This reference and info is specific to the Lost Legends canon where applicable]

Tognas appeared shortly after the first great war of the gods, much to the discomfort of those around him. His physical appearance made them wary, as no two gods are of a kind, yet he was clearly the same as Koswa. His claim to be the god of life and death, when all knew Agrisi had survived, made them nervous. To them, his existence echoed the evil of the corrupter Vasapaklal, who had started the war by stealing the power of other gods, and twisting their children's minds and bodies to his will. Although he keeps to himself and carries out his duties as one would expect, Tognas' unwillingness to explain his true nature means he is still regarded with great suspicion.

Despite appearing as Koswai, Tognas is still unique among them. Even before the dragon's corruption stole away the predatory and carnivorous of Koswa's children (save for the owls), there were none quite like him. This has only added to the confusion and discomfort, though some mortals embrace this about him, mimicking his dark and drab coloration.

He shows a thinly-veiled contempt for the Philian race, likely related to their decision to aid the corrupter.
However, this tends to manifest in distinctly personal ways, suggesting there is more to his disdain for the dwarves.

I still have a lot of little details to add and refine, but I really felt like getting this out there since he's starting to hit the sweet spot I want for him. There's some vague story ideas for him floating around in my head, but I dunno if anything will come of that.
