This came about because I realized we didn't have badges for our fursonas' new coloration. Okay, I got one commissioned, but Norv didn't have one. I was also wanting to experiment with art nouveau style. I've seen it a lot lately and it's so beautiful. So I decided to make a set of couples badges and give that style a go. I also played around with my style a bit, making the fluff more curvy and stuff.

It was a fun challenge to make making badges that mirrored each other but were unique enough to stand on it's own. For example, we both like blue but I like purple and he likes green so the main color was blue with accents of the other. Also trying to have matching bodies but reflect their different body types. Kin is tall with lean muscles. Med is short with more fluff on her. I kinda of ignored the height difference for this (though Kin's ears help give the illusion of it, a nice accident there) but wanted to reflect the rest a bit.

Overall, I'm really happy with these two. Sure, I can improve. But I think they really came out well. I can't wait to finish them up (print, cut, laminate, clip) and then wear them around FangCon. ^_^
