I have a friend who's been an incredible sweet heart to me. So when she mentioned about loving bunnies and how she fell in love with this merbunny print she had found on Etsy at some point, I knew I really really wanted to draw her gift art of a merbunny. So while hanging out at a game night at their place, I sneaked in this drawing to surprise her.

I wish the blues of the fin part had turned out better. Otherwise, pretty happy with how charming the bunny part turned out.

And she ended up loving it, which couldn't make me happier. :D

It was also really, really nice to do a fully traditional picture. It had been ages since I broke out the colored pencils. I didn't realize how much I missed it! Not the hand pain part, though, lol. (I hold them too tightly, I think.)
