A charcoal work of one of my dogs, protecting some of my stuffed animals outside in a den. We may have to grow up, but Ill always keep what was close to me as a youngster, close to myself as an adult. :) Although all of my stuffies are no longer a part of my life, they hold the top space of my closet in my studio. :) I see them every day. <3

The dog featured is Cardinal, my current rough collie. This piece is uh.. if I remember, 24x36? If I remember right. Its still waiting to be framed when I have the space to properly hang it. Her one ear is too far back and it bothers me, but once it was done, it was done, lol. This was done in mid 2013. I despise working with charcoal because its so messy, but getting results is so intriguing.
