Bought a TV table and I wanted to add some sparkle to it... Hadn't planned on doing emus at first, but you know what, I really like these buggers so, why not!

First, I painted the emu silhouettes in black gloss outdoor acrylic paint. Then I 'painted' the rest of the TV table with a small amount of glitter, a few colors of gold Pearl EX mixed with glossy varnish and then added a few big sparkles. After that cured, I 'painted' the emus with many different colors of Pearl EX mixed with glossy varnish... I tried to go for a nebula sort of look, but I failed horribly... but I think it looks cool anyway! Once that had all cured, I covered the entire table top with Envirotex resin and let that cure.

Now I don't even want to use the darn thing... I think I'm almost done with this emu art kick I'm on lately, but no promises.... :)
