Rememberance

nh63879

This is something I made as my own sign of respect to all of those who have fallen at the hand of war both past, present and hopefully not future wars and conflicts.

Sunday was the day in which what was suppose to be the war to end all wars came to an end. On the 11th day of the 11th month at the 11th hour. It was, the end. The end of a mere conflict, that lead onto a war. A war that had took on many European countries, before others were clawed in by the demonic had of war.

As a sign of remembrance and a message which will live on, just as much as the memories of past conflicts will, I have this to say

May we never forget.
Forget not those who have fallen, into the demonic hand of war.
May we not be here, for not without them.
May their fight for all people to be free, live on.
May the horrors of past conflicts, be reflected upon.
May they not return to haunt us.
May justice prevail.
May the message of peace return.
May the prejudices of the past be forgotten.
May one voice, become bigger and louder.
May we all unite, as one.
May we all come as one.
May god bless, each and everyone of us.

This is dedicated to the many thousands who have fallen in battle. To my great Grandfather who served in the first world war, and had survived being gassed during this time. As well as to my late Grandfather, who may not have served in the war but had done his service with the merchant Navy before contracting permanent Bronchitis just six weeks into service. Though he did of course, like many of his generation, did his part in the war for the St John Ambulance.

To those who read this and leave a comment , I say this.

Thank you
