Another WIP of the giant toothless plush im working on. This was when i had to take it outside to draw out the wings so they were properly sized to the mannequin. The wings are already drawn out now. As you can see in the photo i started to take the tape off, all the tape pattern (except the head) has been taken off and is nearly ready to pattern on the fabric.

Current process of making what you see here:

Toothless WIP is currently over 6ft long

Varying thickness of upholstery foam glued together and hand carved (only carved/shaped one side)

Cling wrap and duct tape (for pattern)

Many many many hours of my time, there is a lot more to the process, if i find the time i’ll post more info on how i did this.

Still needing to be done:

Need fabric

Finishing cutting pattern off (the duct tape)

Patten the tail fins/sails

Make head, back, and leg spikes

Make or buy claws

Finish before movie release
