Tatomir the moon god in the early hours after his birth, had a cunning idea to steal a pearl from Morana, goddess of death and cold. Unfortunately for him the guard at the gates of the underworld tore him into four pieces, but due to godly intervention he managed to survive. This is the reason he shows and circulates through four different faces, growing from youth to old age.
