in my childhood I play many video games on NES and SNES. after the PlayStation appear but I don' play the 3D games and I don't play it much, after I come back to NES and I love the simple image. I start to use the PC and internet and I encounter the rogue like game, the history is very long and once the PC don't have the ability to show the image, it just only show the words, then the RPG game appears. all of the character and objects are single character, @ is player character, # is wall like. this screen shot show the images and this is the tile image version, the new PC allow to show the image and I play the tiled version.

I play the dungeon crawl stone soup, I start to play this game in around 2008 and for many years I enjoy this game. this version is 0.11 and now the latest version is 0.27. but I feel I can't catch up with the new versions, the game creator try to change the detailed game system and add and remove the features, and sometimes it pull off the good feature of the game. first the summoner can call the creatures as we like and on this screen the player cast call canine families and 10 and some dogs, all of them follow the player and attack the enemies. and the player can call more monsters when the MP is exist and it's strong spell.

on the newer version the summoning capacity is set and the player only call a spell within a capacity, the canine families can keep only 1 dog, weakened too much, and the other strong skill is erased and weak skill is buffed up, it seems it's good game balance but I feel the interesting point is reduced, and when I want to enjoy the summoner I play the stone soup 0.11, and I mainly play version 0.14. I sometimes play this game and I keep on playing for some months, but in the last year I don't play it at all and I draw many arts.
