I draw my fox miko character Okitsu with big fullmoon and the night scene. for many years I don't use the black colored pencil because it easily mingle with the pale yellow like color and the color become blur, so I avoid to use the black color, and I use the deep brown or blending some color to make the deep colors. but this time I draw the powerful character scribble and then I really want to use the black color and I draw this art. I feel the pure black is completely different from the blended color, and this is far stronger than other deeper colors. so I decide to put the big moon and night scene like the very old art, but on the way coloring this character, her fur color is silver and her kimono is white, so I try to have a good balance on character and background, and the night background become a few pale.

and on her eye color, I've believed she have deep brown eyes and I see the old arts and I notice her eyes are purple, and on the other pale gray character, I believe she have purple eye but I see the old art and I notice she have brown eyes, I think my memory is unreliable. this time I think it's chance to try the black color on her eyes and I think of the excuse that the night background make her eyes looks darker. and her eye line become sharp, and after I think purple eyes are good on this character.
