Decided to spend today working on a serious, lineless piece. Griffon comforting a lonely little war orphan, possibly one of the gryphon hatchling battle pets in WoW. He's not that great of a father, nor does he plan on being one, but there's some caring instincts in him and he wouldn't turn away the poor little thing. He might be quiet and standoffish, but you'd have to be an idiot to think there's nothing more to a character than surface level.

Took a good 6 or so hours, not counting the sketches. Probably about 50 layers. Because of how I condense layers when drawing, there were a few small issues that had to be fixed near the end, but it actually went a lot smoother than something like this should have. I tried doing a background, but nothing really looked good, so I left it transparent.
