About a week ago, Stevie Maxwell, the commissioner of the Furry Basketball Association asked if I'd be interested in doing some design work. Basically, this RP/fantasy basketball league hybrid comes complete with its own All-Star Week. Such a week needed appropriate jerseys to match.

This is what I came up with. Work was set back a bit when I got hit by a bout of sickness, but as it is, it's useable. I would've liked to polish it up a bit, but I still got to learn from working on this; namely, a bit of what it's like to do real design work.

Elements of the design:

• All-Star Week takes place in San Jose, which is home to a team called the Thrust. (The league very specifically avoids using the locations of real-world NBA teams.) The Thrust's primary colour is purple, so that had to be used.
• The Thrust's logo is a ball shooting along. I decided to combine that with the "star" motif so common in ASW designs, and thus there's a "shooting star" motif.
• Previous jerseys designed for the FBA's ASW used red and blue as their primary colours. Since purple's in-between those two on the colour wheel this was tricky to get to work with Thrust Purple, so I decided to make the West jersey mostly white. Previous NBA ASW jerseys have done this before.
• Yes, that is a West Side Story joke. Come on, I couldn't resist! :P
