Love to see some of these in such a large format! This one is interesting, its got such busy textures! As I've said before some other thing, it's got a sense of order in chaos to it, and so many suggestive, yet non-too-divulging shapes and directions. It gives off so much information, but barely force a single line. I especially love the texture on the plaster on the left-hand wall, and the ornamentation is very well brought out. The lower part of the backgroud church can be perhaps a bit too fractured for me, and making sense of the shapes becomes more straining, but I suppose this has to do with the facade of the church being more intricate. A recurrence in all these linos are the astonishing way you have given presence and character all the buildings. You have very apt description, youve really made it work, somehow.

Thanks again. I finally had opportunity to take new pictures of my linocuts (one's missing, but I'll just need to make new prints).

Honestly it's the linocut I am least fond of, because of how many mistakes I made during cutting. But I did it a long time ago, when I still had not as much experience with a chisel, so it was rather important lesson for me.

You're right about the church. I always considered it as a part which destroyed the depth of the picture, but only thought about making it more plain and less detailed to fix it (didn't touch the matrix though), but what you said might have helped as well. Thank you ; ).
