Tharraingt Anuas an Ghealach -Celtic Wolfsjal-

Nashoba Hostina

This is a piece I did for my friend Wolfsjal some time ago, and I really adore it, so it's going up here as well. I've gone on at length about Irish werewolves and such before, such as in my Faoladh piece, So, if you'd like to learn more about werewolves and such, please check out those or hit your local library. Speaking of which, if you're interested in Celtic design, here are a few that I have referenced: The books of Durrow, Dimma and, of course, Kells... 159 Celtic Designs by Amy L. Lusebrink, Celtic Beasts by Courtney Davis, Celtic Design: Animal Patterns by Adrian Meehan, and Treasury of Viking Design by Courtney Davis.

How many werewolf legends do you know? Werewolves are my favorite subject.

I've been researching them for years as well, but I don't know as much about them as you do. What is your favorite werewolf legend?

That's tough. I'm particularly fond of Livonian/Lithuanian werewolf legends as of late, you know, Theiss and all, though Abbot Gilbert's tale of being rescued by a werewolf and similar stories have always caught my interest.
