    I am in love with the tubes going from the chest and arm into the shoulder plate, as well as the mesh fiber muscle things. Are those little hydraulic head movers going from the jaw to the chest?

      Yah, idk why I left them in since they're kind of out of place with everything else, come to think of it.
      A lot of animatronics have them to help tilt the head of a puppet.

      inspiration from various other things. Usually video games or whatever... Like Doom 3, Halo series.. Mecha in general.. A bit of Hexidecimal from a bad CGI cartoon called Reboot.. a bit of Metal Gear Solid.. but yah.
