My piece for the 2013 Werewolf Calendar!

My Caption was:

"The dietary foundation for most werewolves is meat, as high quality proteins are often necessary to power the energy needs for shifting. However, much like humans, some werewolves have shown a great fondness for other foods as well. The summer's bounty of wild mushroom are an especially cherished delicacy among werewolves living in the woods. Collecting mushrooms such as wild chanterelles is far less stressful than hunting animal prey, and this activity seems to be approached as an enjoyable event by mature werewolves. "

This scene is from behind my house, with a little elaboration (+werewolf power), though sadly because of drought we haven't had many chanterelles this year.
