This mask was crafted as a mascot and environmental educator for Pfeiffer Nature Center! Pfeiffer Nature Center is a wonderful natural area in Western NY state. Wendy was named after the late Wendy Pfeiffer, who endowed her family property to become an educational nature preserve.

The resin base was created by Stuffed Panda Studios http://stuffedpandastudios.com/
I then modified it and finished the mask. It is made with faux (fake) fur, resin, acrylic, and paint. The beak is articulated and opens with the wearer's mouth.

That looks really nice. I like the fade from black to lighter grey along the beak, and the eyes.
Is the beak strong enough to chip pieces of wood out of a tree, though? :D
