This is a sketch I'm currently working on, I'm working on making my character Nakashi slightly bigger so she looks more like me. Does anyone have any pointers on how I can make this picture better?

You're doing a great job so far!
I'd make right leg a little more visible; the angle of the left one looks weird in contrast with the lower leg and the torso. I'm also not sure if this is your style of drawing feet but they look a bit like just toes, so give it a little more feet! c:
As for the hands, I'd take a look at Posemaniacs hand viewer (ignore the first thing, thats a beta CT scan you might not be comfortable with viewing, just click on another thing and you should be fine)
