Annlyn and Ichi are having a conversation at two am, as people do, and Ichi's question causes an already exhausted Annlyn, to break down. Meaning, a very unhappy guard dog-I mean Steak, barges in and takes care of the "problem" rip Ichi (I'm sure he's fine, he just needs some milk)
Also, the food souls have banned Annlyn for being awake for so long, they don't even know why she's been up so long in the first place (she was working and refused to take a break), most likely Steak is on "Make sure Master Attendant goes to bed" duty at night.

Two am in the Kitchen
Annlyn (Been awake for over 24 hours); "Aren't you tired Ichi?"
Ichi (only up because Annlyn's up); "Nope! I'm good."
Ichi: "Oh! Can I ask you something?"
Annlyn; "Sure!"
Ichi; "So, you know how the food souls are well... food? Does that mean that when we eat a meal, we're eating a food soul?"
Annlyn (Eating rice); "..."
Ichi: "Sounds weird right? But, it's just been bugging me.... What do you think, Annlyn?"
Annlyn (Thinks about her Rice, calling out to her)
Rice; "Master Attendant!"
Annlyn (frozen in place); "..."
Annlyn (starting to freak out); "A-ah... U-Um..."
Ichi: "Annlyn?"
Annlyn (starts crying); "NOOOOO!"
Ichi (instant regret); "I'm so fucked..."
Annlyn (having a break down)
Steak (Bursts in and throws the door open); "MASTER ATTENDANT?!"
Steak; "What's wro-..." (notices Ichi trying to calm Annlyn down)
Steak (furious); "ICHI WHAT DID YOU DO!"
In the main area
Brownie: "Here's your tea, once you're done it's best that you head off to bed."
Annlyn (calming down); "Th-thank you..."
Steak; "I've taken care of the problem. You just need to smile."
Ichi (most likely dead in the kitchen)
