The lioness' body finally disappeared, absorbed and transformed by the stag's thousand pronged antlers. Her bones turned into tines, and her life force fed the monster. Her skull, the last piece remaining, carried high like a trophy will eventually be absorbed. And then, the stag will truly be the victor, the king, the master.
