      Thank you so much!! It was a lot of fun :D and I agree. Just... at the time, a lot of people frowned on using references for some reason.

        There is a stupid unreasonable dislike of references in some of furry fandom particularly. Through out the history of art artists have used references, but live and drawings or paintings of others and then photos. The ONLY reason to not use references is if you are such an expert on your subject and have had TONS of practice drawing/painting them to not need it! Otherwise you are trying to draw in the dark. If you look through my journals I think I have a link to a really amazing article on why using references is good! Sorry, this is one of my pet peeves...

          Yes!! exactly. I think this is a furry fandom issue only, so after having stepped back for a while, I no longer feel guilty using references. Besides... I think there is no way to really learn without using refs anyway! Thank you so much, I will definitely check your journals! :D
