Continuing my “power animal” series from a while ago with Turkey Vulture, flanked by primary feathers, and overlooking a raccoon skull and deer jaw bones. The symbols are Air, Sun (also the vulture’s “third eye”), spiral and eternity.

Although the majority of people find the ugly and disgusting, they play such an important role in the world.

Vultures, to me, represent renewal, rebirth through Death, patience and thoughtfulness.

So, this is for anyone out there living under the protective wing of this lovely guide, those who embrace vultures, the vulture therians or simply anyone who can appreciate them! :)
