Reginald Reynard, Senior has been arrested and removed from Amanda's hospital room. After he leaves, Michael explains why he had to act the way he did. Then, he offers to buy Reginald, Ryan, and Alphonse dinner. After eating, they part ways. Two weeks later, Michael sees Reginald spying on someone. Knowing where they are, Michael suspects who he's spying on. After scaring Reginald, Michael wants to know what's going on so he offers to buy Reginald something to drink at Juanita's Cantina. During this discussion, Reginald tells the story of him and Rosa from his point of view causing Michael to make a decision.
