Marooned on Tashoo, Chapter 22 (critique requested)

MviluUatusun

Warning! In this chapter, I describe a hunt in which an animal is killed for the purpose of feeding a family. If you do not like reading these things, ignore this chapter. However, failure to read this chapter could cause you to be somewhat confused later in the story. Yes, the scene that is in this chapter is necessary for the progress of the story.

William and Rora go hunting again. After successfully obtaining meat, William discovers an orphaned Kootona cub. Despite his concerns about having such an animal anywhere near the village, his soft heart decides for him. He adopts the little cub whom he names Chy. When Rora sees Chy, he goes ballistic and berates William until William explains the advantages of having a Kootona as a house guest.
