Naruto OC - Kasumi Hayashi {Full Timeline}

MUTE-630

This is my main Naruto Oc, Kasumi Hayashi. I'll be posting a lot of her on here, along with her numerous pictures on my Deviantart. So here's a rundown of her timeline to get started;

Child (Yuki <7):
Kasumi is just a kid with her parents & clan in Yukigakure. All seems peaceful. Kasumi's cousin, Yoshiro, is a close friend. They spend a lot of time together having snowball fights, playing hide & seek, etc. with a few more friends of theirs. When she's lonely, Kasumi will spend time with her mother, Kana, or observe her father, Satou, training from her room.
Academy (Konoha 7-11):
Satou suddenly moves the family to Konohagakure for what Kasumi is told to form a trust between Yuki and Konoha. Kasumi is upset of the sudden move, but is still happy to explore the world without ice and snow. Kasumi promises Yoshiro that she'll see him again soon, and leave with a hug and sad smiles.
When arriving at the village, Kasumi is amazed at the difference of Konoha from Yuki, yet misses the cold she knows and loves. They settle in with an apartment above a nice elderly man who ran a small tool shop. He told Kasumi that she reminded him of a young grandson he would be taking care of soon.
Kasumi was signed up for the academy. As a quiet but nice girl, she didn't make many friends unless they approached her. Two memorable friends where Midori Kuma and Hiroshi Yamada. The two were fighting in the training area, as par usual, when Kasumi surprisingly stepped in and made Midori stop. No one really bothered to break up Midori's fights except the teachers, and so this left an impression on Midori. She quickly announced the two would be friends, despite any protests on Kasumi's side. This is also the time when Kasumi realized Midori was actually a girl. A few days later, after Midori had left, Hiroshi thanked Kasumi for her help. The two talked for some time, and soon formed a friendship. Midori wasn't entirely happy with this, but wasn't able to do anything about it.
Genin (11-14):
Kasumi graduated the academy along with a handful of other students. She and her friends where surprised when they were put on the same team. This was done by special request from Midori's uncle, Tatsuo, who also became their new sensei. The three work well together, surprisingly. Kasumi is usually seen as a barrier between Midori and Hiroshi, until they can work good as a team. During this time, Midori is unhappy with Kasumi's quietness, ans determines that she will make her into a tomboy. Kasumi goes along with it in time.
When Kasumi is about 12, Tatsuo signs them up for the Chunin Exams. While Midori is pumped, Kasumi and Hiroshi are worried about what will happen. The team makes it past the Forest of Death, but both Hiroshi and Kasumi lose during the one vs. one fights. In the end, Midori won the Exams. After this, Kasumi wishes for her dad to teach her the Dehydration Technique. Her father agreed that she'd learn in time. He helped her concentrate on chakra control and shaping water thinner and thinner.
Chunin Exams (14):
Kasumi has begun better chakra control and can now use a water whip. Feeling accomplished, Kasumi agrees with her team to once again try the Chunin Exams. Without Midori, however, the team cannot enter. Hiroshi brings up Ai Aomori, an old friend and new rival to Kasumi. Hesitantly, Kasumi agrees to ask her, and heads over to the clan house. The two talk, and Ai agrees to join them. The team works well despite a few arguments here and there. Kasumi passes the exams after using the Dehydration Technique on her final opponent. After winning, her father and mother come to congratulate her. When her father sees the Yuki headband on her wrist, however, he becomes angry and takes it from Kasumi, freezing and shattering it within seconds. This caused great tension between her and her father, enough to say she hated him.
Chunin (14-16):
Now a Chunin, Kasumi is given an outfit from her aunt Kei Hayashi. Kei had sown Kasumi's entire outfit by hand to accompany a special weapon; Kasumi's staff. The staff was said to be used by Akane (the clan founder) herself, and had chakra responders within the staff. This allowed users to add ice blades of any shape or size based on their chakra levels. Therefore; better chakra control = bigger, sharper, smoother blades. Sadly, Kasumi could not use it until she began training in Ice nature. But she held onto it anyway.
Kasumi began wind chakra training at 15. She learned this from her mother, as Kasumi and her father were still on shaky terms. Her mother was not as skilled with ninjutsu as her father, so her wind nature is no where near mastered. Still, this created a new strong bond between Kasumi and her mother. Kasumi wished to cut her hair, but her mother wished her not to. She said long hair made girls look elegant, peaceful. So Kasumi stuck with long hair to please her mother.
None mattered, as when Kasumi was 16, her parents were found dead near the gates of Konoha on the night of a beautiful festival. Kasumi was devastated, and was told she would return to Yukigakure where she would be taken care of by her clan once again.
In Between (16-22):
When returning, Kasumi learns the true nature of her clan. Instead of a peaceful, perfect clan, she finds the reasons they left in the first place. The clan believed that a lviing human was just a shell for the soul that restricts its true power. They said that the souls of the dead stayed and protected the clan. And so, the Hayashi clan test the strongest members' abilities. If they passed, they would earn the 'highest honor' of being frozen alive alongside other members at their strongest points. No one questioned the practices, as they were raised to aim for this honor. Satou, however, explored the world perviously, and met his love Kana. Later he was tested, and feared the idea of death, especially with little Kasumi. So they left. Because of this, Kasumi was not treated the same as others for her father's actions. They would be kind, as long as she followed their beliefs without question. She confides mostly in her cousin, Yoshiro, and a helper, Yoko, who both care for her well-being greatly, even if she doesn't show similar emotions directly.
Years later, she's taught Ice Release and now easily uses her staff (which they kept until then). She's perfected the Dehydration Technique, and uses it to finish many if not all fights. The clan believes they have won her over, but she secretly holds a burning grudge against them for what they have caused. And so, she sneaks out with only Yoko knowing right before her escape. She travels between villages, keeping hidden by taking the clothing of her opponents after death. She'll use different names, and becomes friendly with the civilians. She makes money through small jobs like cleaning shops, running errands, or serving at food or tea shops. All the while, she plans on 'fixing' her clans' ways by learning from her only known source; Kirigakure.
When arriving in the Land of Waves, Kasumi is found by a mysterious shinobi which battle. The shinobi wins, yet does not kill her. He tells Kasumi to leave, but she denies and explains why she is here. He states that if she continues, she'll end up dead, then disappears. Kasumi attempts to ignore his words and continue, but quickly finds herself in another fight, which causes her to flee. She decides on other means, but remembers the shinobi after seeing his face in the bingo book. His names was Hoshigaki Kisame, and she believed he could help her.
Shippuden (26-27):
It is found that Kasumi had been watching Kisame and Itachi, along with the basic whereabouts of the Akatsuki, until Itachi noticed her presence after Kisame fought Roku. After being shown to the Akatsuki, Kasumi was forced to become a intel gatherer and spy for them. This allowed her to continue her search to 'fix' her clan, but they must be aware of all information she finds, as it may have been useful to them later on. Many of the members didn't bother with her. If she was observing them during missions, some would simply ignore her. Others, however, like Deidara or Hidan, may become irritated by her or consider her a distraction. Soon enough, she was told the only members she was allowed to communicate with were Itachi, Kisame, and rarely Konan to pass on information. In time, this allowed Kasumi to get as much information should could from Kisame on Kirigakure and the Kekkei Genkai Massacre. Conversing with Kisame grew a one-sided bond for Kasumi, one she would never admit. When the Akatsuki die off, Kasumi moves to the shadows, and plans to continue her goals after the war.
