The daughter of a Jewish deli owner, Alice never imagined she would be able to attend the prep academy. Her oldest friend, Benjamin, made it clear that his high grades were thanks much in part to the young mouse, and so his parents decided to sponsor her in the hope that she would be able to continue helping him.
