I had to get out of bed at 1 a.m. to grab my tablet and sketch these. What is a healthy sleep schedule anyway
Working out some more character/race design for my newest story idea, having pretty much set aside everything I was doing previously. I'm trying to focus on depicting a nice range of sizes and proportions while remaining within a certain fantasy aesthetic.
One of these guys helps the protagonist and the other is a villain. I wanna see you guess which is which.

For me, worldbuilding always starts with the characters.
And I must say, the brush I used for this works quite well for drawing hair, fur, and feathers.

I think the smudged detail is tempting, kind of want to see these fine tuned later.
While I'm not fan of religious thing irl, having it drawn does catch my fancy with the worlds we make.
The hair looks like something else I have trains my eyes to see.
