So this is my entry for GalacticGizmo's design a character contest back in dA. Funny how it is only until now where I actually off my lazy ass and get to drawing this today before the deadline, which is tomorrow, but I digress.

So, this is Verne! While he does have some dog-like physical attributes, the exception is that of his abnormally long lizard-like tail, which is actually longer than his whole body! His overall design and color palette was inspired by the apple blossom Amaryllis bulb, which I actually found in my own front-yard. Go figure. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
